Author: The Beard Struggle
Published at: Jul 23, 2021
Beards give us an edgy look and often boost our confidence for all the right reasons, and although I'm very much a furry faced admirer, beards can sometimes present us with a few problems too. So, let's have a little light hearted monday chuckle, as we look at Four Annoying Problems When It Comes To Beards...
YOUR TASH' LIKES A BEVERAGE OR TWO!
When your beard reaches a certain length it seems to begin having it's very own desires. For example, my mustache tends to like soaking up half of my morning cup of tea or coffee before I even get a chance to drink it down. In fact, the same applies for any beverage I choose. Thankfully, using a tippy cup lid (which are used by most coffee shops) or straw quickly eliminates my greedy tash from stealing my much deserved tipple!
YOU'LL FIND BEARD HAIRS HERE, THERE AND EVERYWHERE!
I'm sure every bearded fellow who is reading this blog will fully understand where I am coming from about this, but when your beard begins to grow out you'll start to find your beard hairs pretty much everywhere. From your laptop keyboard, when you're reading the newspaper, to your lunchtime meal of choice. Try as you might you'll never stop them turning up in the most inconvenient of places. Try not to worry though, as losing a beard hair here and there is nothing to be overly concerned about. You'd be surprised at just how many of these wild hairs sprout from your face! So shedding hairs only leaves more room for new hairs to continue growing out.
YOU'LL HAVE GOOD BEARD DAYS AND BAD!
I've talked about this in a previous blog post, but sadly every bearded gent has experienced a 'bad beard day' a they do happen to the best of beards. No matter how many times you try to tame that wild mane with numerous oils, balms and vigorous brushing, it's still looking like shit. These days tend to pop up for me in the most inconvenient of times. And in truth, there is very little we can do about them, other than accept it as a 'bad beard day' and roll onto the next.
SPLIT ENDS ARE YOUR NEW ARCH ENEMY!
Despite how well you care for your glorious beard, every now and then you're highly likely to have run into a split end or two hiding away in your beard. The problem with these troublesome areas is they are often accompanied by a few ugly split ended friends, which if left to their own devices will only worsen, giving your beard a thin and frizzy appearance. The quick solution here is to visit a trusty barber and have a little trim every now and again to help keep your beard it good shape, whilst continuing to follow a day-to-day beard care/grooming resume. Following those simple pointers will soon see the back of any split ends once and for all.
That wraps up another beard blog for today folks. As always please leave us your thoughts, comments and questions in the comments box you'll find provided below.
