Being a husband and father of three, my family life often revolves around children's television programs and family friendly movies, the majority of these being from Disney.
I have a confession to make, before I met my wife I had never seen a Disney movie. Okay, maybe one or two, but top Disney classics like The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid and Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs I'd not much heard of, let alone watched them.
Then as the years have ticked by and my children have grown from toddlers to young children, I have since watched my fair share from the creative minds of the Disney studios.
Today, I wanted to admire the artists who have provided some of our favourite Disney characters with what can only be described as epic facial forests.
Let's take a look at just a small handful of the Best Beards In The World Of Disney...
Some may argue that Animal is in fact some sort of animal (hence the name!), therefore he doesn't have a beard as such, but body furr. With The Muppets being my all time favourite Disney addition it would have been rude of me not to have included this drum beating mother-fudger, named Animal to my list.
Even those who aren't huge fans of The Muppets franchise will certainly have heard of Animal, usually found with a set of drumsticks in his orangy puppet hands, eagerly awaiting his time to shine on his trusty drum kit. And let's be honest, that's not a bad furry face for somebody who has a mans hand shoved up his ass, either.
HI HOOOOO! Possibly everyone's all time favourite small folks, the Seven Dwarfs certainly pack an outstanding collection of beards in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs. Well, all but that one guy, Dopey, who clearly struggles to muster up a little light stubble, never mind a full beard.
I wonder if he has ever heard of us here at 'The Beard Struggle'? I think our range of premium beard care products might just be able to help with this problem at hand.
One of my most favourite Christmas movies (Yes, it most certainly is a Christmas classic!) has to be The Nightmare Before Christmas. It's become a Holiday tradition within our household to get together come Christmas Eve and watch this movie from start to finish.
Being a true believer of Santa Claus, one of my movie favourite scenes is when Jack Skelton kidnaps Santa Claus, and more fondly misnamed his as 'Sandy Claws.' That sh*t just never gets old.
But just look at that beard! Old Saint Nick certainly knows how to sprout out some face fuzz to make just about anyone envious. High five Santa, you done good.
When I tossed the idea of today's blog topic to my lovely Wife, the first name she brought to the table was King Triton, from the movie, The Little Mermaid.
Although I've only seen this movie probably once, if not twice at a push, I couldn't help but notice this remarkable mans godly-like beard. The cartoonist really went to town when deciding to sketch up the characters majestic white beard and long flowing hair. Give the guy a crown, some bling and pitchfork and he's made for life. Not that I'm at all jealous, honest. *cries into a pillow*
So, there you have it, four of the very best beards you're likely to find in a Disney movie. To be honest, my list was almost endless, as I feel a part two will most certainly be in the pipeline in the coming weeks.
