Hello, good day to all and welcome back to the TBS blog. I'm often greeted with messages from our readers with an entire host of different questions and comments regarding facial hair and how's best to care for it.
One that crops up more often than not is how to fix a patchy, unevenly growing beard, and if there is, in fact, anything that can be done to correct it. So, I thought I would give you all a little guidance in the form of a blog in today's topic, titled Is It Possible To Fix A Patchy Growing Beard?...
FIRSTLY, IT MIGHT JUST NEED A LITTLE MORE TIME!
First things first, sometimes we are too eager to see results that we overlook how far our beard game has come, and prematurely expect optimal results. We often have an image in mind of which we hope we can achieve when growing our facial hair, and if we don't get the desired results and fast we question as to why.
So, before you go waving the white flag on trying to grow out, take a breath, have a coffee or two and give it more time, as the chances are things will even out, and those annoying naked patches will soon fill out.
IN SHORT, MOVE MORE, AND EAT RIGHT.
Sorry if the above subheading sounds somewhat blunter than my usual context, but it is a little-known fact that exercise and a better-balanced diet will actually help improve your growing game.
That's right, exercise not only gets your blood pumping, and helps keep you in shape, it also helps spike your testosterone levels, which in turn can help with hair follicle growth. Pretty neat right?
Certain foods also include certain ingredients that boost beard growth, a little-known secret called biotin.
Biotin can be naturally sourced from many different food sources, from eggs, almonds, cheeses, cauliflower, sweet potato, mushrooms, and spinach to name all but a few.
By choosing to lead an active life and to eat a healthy balance of the right foods will effectively give your beard a boost in all the right places. So, your Momma makes a very valid point making you eat your greens are a child.
KEEPING THINGS NEAT AND TIDY IS ALL ABOUT GOOD TIMING!
So, when is it best to take your first trim? I guess this varies from one mans face fur to another. In all honesty, I personally would not try and trim or tidy things for at least 3-4 months, this way you'll have a good understanding of your growing ability, and what you can own in the bearded department.
If a wonderfully long beard is beyond you means of growing ability despite whatever you may try, the chances are this will be down to your family genetics. If your father or grandfather packed an impressive beard you are more likely going to be blessed with the same fortune.
Having a larger than life beard isn't the be all and end all, you can still pack an impressive, shorter beard if you wish. Find what you want to sport and rock it proudly my Brother.
That sees today's blog come to an end, for now, my friends. As always be sure to make contact with us on our social media pages. You'll find us on Facebook, catch us tweeting on Twitter and posting pics over on our Instagram.
